Being a guide myself I highly recommend Gaspar who showed me the astonishing Soca river. I’m not a super experienced fly angler (predatory fishing with hard and softbaits in Amsterdam is my thing) but with the accurate cues of Gaspar things went just great. I had only 4 hours to fish and this was enough to make my dream come true: catching trout on the Soca. The first was the biggest, but the second was the coolest in terms of spotting the fish behind a boulder, finding the best spot to cast and choosing the right fly. I’ll never forget that beast moving to the streamer, making a turn and gulping the thing in his big mouth. Just text book, classic, priceless. And I will be back for that marble trout that turned away last minute. Thanks for the amazing experience!

Very professional service and excellent guide. The fishing was different to my usual reservoir fishing, it was fast flowing rivers and nymphing. Despite my poor casting, my guide Taras persevered in teaching me and I managed to land 2 rainbow trout (they fight hard for the size). I lost a few more as well! Highly recommend for a fully guided (and equipped if need be) day. Taras - I will post some pheasant feathers for you in the Autumn 🙂 Excellent communication with Gasper to organise the day, always responded quickly to all my questions. It was a once in a lifetime trip for me so well worth getting the best guide. Thank You!!!

September 23, 2021I booked a half-day fly fishing trip on a short notice while traveling through Slovenia and reading about the best fly fishing in the world. My guide was Walter, he was amazing. He was very patient with me as I am a beginner to fly fishing and his knowledge and passion is without end. I caught 3 trout and was extremely happy. I learned so much about fly fishing and the eco system in those 5 hours. Thanks again Walter, I had a wonderful day to remember.
