Massive thanks to Gasper for his expertise on a guide day on the Soca river system. His shop that he runs with his father is the place to start for any fly fishing adventure in the Soca valley. They also helped me fix a hole in my waders. Brilliant service from some very knowledgeable and friendly people. I’ll wear the cap with pride!

My friends and I had an amazing fishing trip to the Soca Valley in Slovenia. We fished hard for 3 days catching marble trout (up to 70 cm), wild rainbows and hybrids. Every day something new, every session fish. We couldn't have done any of this without the expert guiding of Gasper of Soca Fly and his colleague Bostjan. We could measure our success from the comments of other fisherman we met along the way, who had all heard of us and knew of our achievements. Gasper and Bostjan, know the waters to fish methods and flies to use. Without them this would have been an ordinary trip to a very beautiful part of the world, as it was it turned out to be a trip that makes memories. I can't recommend Gasper highly enough.
